Dr. Douglas Meyer

Dr. Meyer was raised in New York. He graduated from Duke University, with honors of Magna Cum Laude, with a Degree of Bachelors of Arts. His Major was Psychology.

He earned his Medical Degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C.. He completed his Rotating Medical and Surgical Internship at Albany Medical School and Medical Center, New York. He subsequently completed his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albany Medical School and Medical Center, New York.

He is Board Certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

He has been a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

He joined Dr. Frank Durcan, Dr. Stacy Lloyd and Dr. Tom Tomzak in the practice of Ob/Gyn at Pratt Medical Center in 1990.

He has been in the single-physician, private practice of Ob/Gyn in Fredericksburg since 1998.

He is interested in all areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology, for all age groups. Working with Perinatology, he provides obstetrical care and delivery to both low risk and high risk patients.
